Dr. Sherri M. Lorraine is part of a family of six generation Floridians. She grew up in Osceola County and graduated with an undergraduate Health Science degree from University of Central Florida with a full Bright Futures Scholarship. Dr. Lorraine attended University of St. Augustine for a master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She continued on for a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with emphasis on the Sacro Iliac joint through the University of St. Augustine while studying in California. Dr. Lorraine worked at Shriner’s Hospital for Children Shreveport, Louisiana in the 3-D Gait Analysis Laboratory as a Doctor of Physical Therapy while acquiring her PhD in research and education.  She continued on with her education through the American Physical Therapy Association, Section on Women’s Health and completed a Certificate of Achievement in CAPP-Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and her Breast Cancer Care Certificate through the KLOSE Institute. Dr. Lorraine is the only Dual Doctorate, CAPP-Pelvic Floor, OB & Breast Certified Women’s Health Physical Therapist within two counties.  This has become her sole treatment area and passion. Her motto is to support patients in “Living life to their healthiest potential”.


Dr. Toni McDowell is a Melbourne native who earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida, with minors in Health Sciences and Fitness Training. She went on to attend the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences for her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She completed 3 internships at Doctor of Women’s Health Physical & Occupational Therapy Services prior to receiving her DPT, and is looking forward to dedicating herself and her career to specializing in Men & Women’s Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.



Sara has been practicing outpatient Physical Therapy for 6 years. She graduated Indian River State College as as Physical Therapist Assistant in 2009. Her interest in Prenatal and Postpartum physical therapy grew through her personal experience of childbirth. Sara has completed a certification through the International Childbirth Education Association as a Prenatal Fitness Educator, specializing in prenatal and postpartum exercise design. She is dedicated to helping other women return to previous levels of fitness and optimal pelvic floor health.


Marla Hinkle, OTR/L, graduated from Misericordia University, Dallas, PA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. Marla has been trained via Herman and Wallace on pelvic floor function, dysfunction and treatment interventions for the Pelvic Floor. Additionally, Marla has trained with the Klose Institute for Breast Cancer Rehabilitation and has education on lymphedema strategies and prevention. Previously, Marla has worked in industrial rehabilitation and several inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation clinics, and exhibits a strong background in ergonomics, body mechanics education, and lifestyle modifications. Marla has over 25 years of clinical and management experience. She resides in Melbourne with her husband and three daughters.


Jennifer Hickman has been practicing Occupational Therapy for 5 years. She originally studied massage and manual therapy at The Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, North Carolina graduating as a licensed massage therapist. After 5 years of experience as an LMT and eager to grow as a therapist, she attended Keiser University in Melbourne, Florida where she earned her degree in Occupational Therapy. Jennifer has experience in a variety of settings including home health, inpatient, cognitive care facilities and outpatient, however her main focus is Women’s Health. She is trained and certified to treat Lymphedema Upper Extremity including Breast Care and Cancer Rehabilitation. Her education, personal experiences and motivation have allowed her the opportunity to be part of the unique and specialized services provided at Doctor of Women’s Heath Physical & Occupational Therapy. Her goal is to provide patients with the encouragement, therapeutic touch, training and life skills needed for optimal physical, mental, emotional health and overall wellness.
